Karee Abbott - Karee resides on a hobby farm outside of Plymouth, WI. Her husband Andy and herself are the owners of Gobbler Hills Poultry and raise pasture ranged chickens and turkeys. Karee and her family also own numerous animals including llamas, goats, donkeys, dogs and cats. She is also a Sheboygan Cty. 4-H leader for the lama project and this year they will also be offering managerial as well. Karee enjoys learning new crafts and fiber art techniques and has spent many years attending various events that offer classes. And last but not least a regular participate of fiber thing’s Winter Weekend Warm Up


Lynne Bergschultz – Lynne is a designer and illustrator who discovered polymer clay about 8 years ago and life hasn’t been the same since! While producing perhaps 1000’s of original, one of kind buttons for the retail market, she never tired of the process. Each little bit of clay is an exciting experience presenting unique results. She has a degree in Art Education and taught art for 10 years before starting a family and a commercial art career. The opportunity to teach something she is so passionate about brings her full circle.


Melissa (Mo) Brown – Mo is an enthusiastic teacher who loves to share her knowledge of knitting and spinning with others. Knitting since childhood, she started spinning and dyeing wool in college, and now has her own flock of Corriedale and Corriedale-cross sheep. Just having opened her second yarn and fiber store, The Cat and Crow, in Mt. Horeb, WI, she has had extensive experience teaching everyone from beginners to experts. Currently, her greatest passion is for working with color blending for fabulous, fun-to-spin roving and designing exciting knitting yarns, as selling them through the new store.


Sandy Bulgrin – Sandy has been teaching basket weaving for 17 years, having started by instructing 4-H kids, which she continues today. She teaches at UW- Parkside, along with teaching at the Racine and Kenosha museums. She has also taught at the IL and MS gourd shows and basket conventions. Gourds entered her life about eight years ago and has incorporated them into her basket creations. In addition, she has produced a presentation to educate the public on gourds and gourd crafting, which she has given at the Madison Garden Expo, Kenosha Public Museum, as well as master hardening clubs and textile guilds in WI and IL. Sandy is co-owner of Basket Bits Magazine.


Rosie Dittmann – Rosie enjoys all the fiber arts, concentrating the last 12 years on felting. She lives in beautiful Door County, WI with access to wool from local sheep and goat farms as well as a great network of fiber friends, galleries and schools. Her work is featured at “Whitefish Bay Farm Gallery.”


Stefania Isaacson - has been a life-long knitter, and started spinning and dying to supply herself with "the best yarns in the world!" She got her Certificate of Excellence in Handspinning from the Handweaver's Guild of America in 1997. Since then she has opened her own business called Handspun by Stefania and taught numerous workshops dealing in natural dyes, spinning and basket making. She has spoken about the fiber arts to numerous groups, and has appeared on Home & Garden TV as a guest on the
Carol Duvall Show. She sells handspun, natural hand dyed yarns, original knitting kits using her own yarns and patterns, hand dyed roving dyed with natural dyes, and handmade baskets. She was previously a high school English teacher, and now enjoys teaching spinning, dyeing, and
to fiber enthusiasts.

 
Nora Ahlen - Nora grew up knitting and weaving with her mother, and in search of the perfect yarn she learned to spin in 1974. In search of the perfect fleece, she got her first angora goats in 1976 and has been running Homestead Sheep and Fiber in Baileys Harbor, WI ever since. While she used to show at many art fairs each year, she now concentrates on 2 big fiber shows - Shepherd's Market in Door County in May, and the WI Sheep and Wool Festival in Jefferson in Sept. - where she sells fleeces from her Romney and Romney/ Wensleydale cross sheep, roving, combed top handspun and custom spun yarns, and finished products. In season she has finished products at Whitefish Bay Gallery, and she does one art fair in Sister Bay Thanksgiving weekend.
