be using natural colors–either smoked spokes with natural weavers or
natural spokes with smoked weavers. The object is to learn another weave
structure as applied to baskets while creating something of beauty. At
the top you will have the option of shaping it in or out, or just
bringing it straight up. The basket can be used for anything! You can
take it outside for you fall harvest, store all your roving or knitting

this basket because of its esthetically pleasing qualities.

Knit a Beaded Wire Bracelet
Instructor – Lynne Bergschultz
Class Limit – 10
Materials cost: $12 – includes all materials used in class
Students need to bring: (see information in description)
Have fun selecting beads and watching how they come together on wire
using a simple knit stitch. Although the wire doesn't "give" like
yarn, it is very "forgiving". Dropped wire stitches don't unravel
easily. The result is an ornate-looking bracelet you will be proud
to wear or give as a gift.
All materials including beads will be provided, but we'll begin with
a BEAD SWAP!!! If you have a collection of unused beads or just a
few left-overs, please consider bringing them to share/trade. Just
five or six accent beads can make all the difference in design. Any
bead up to the size of a small pea can work.
There will be knitting needles available for you to use, but if you
have your own needles, please bring any and all sizes from 3 to 7.
Students need basic knitting skills.

Basic knowledge of knitting is needed.
Become a fearless knitter! Learn to correct mistakes from the simplest to the most (seemingly) disastrous. We will start with dropped stitches and move through other problems, all the way to garments that just don’t fit. Rather than start over, or give up in disgust, you will learn how to creatively solve problems, while gaining the courage to take charge of your knitting. I will demonstrate how to increase or decrease the size of a garment after it is finished, how to convert a pullover into a cardigan by cutting and picking up stitches, and how to add a new hem, neckline or cuffs.
